Silent Auction Title | Faux Stained Glass Princess Peach
Alt. Silent Auction Title(s) | --
Silent Auction Donator(s) | Levi
Silent Auction Description | Princess Peach, the beloved monarch of the Mushroom Kingdom, is here to dazzle you. This stained glass window is a beautiful highlight of Peach’s Castle, and can be found throughout different Super Mario Bros. games. It was originally designed to be sewn onto the back panel of a jean jacket for a showstopping patch. If rocking patches isn’t your vibe, then don’t fret, slap this art into a frame and place on your wall to fool everyone into thinking you’ve just installed a new stained glass window. Sure, it isn’t see-through, but you definitely can gaze upon it and enjoy the view. The line work is done with matte black size 8 seed beads, while size 10 silver lined seed beads are used to create the appearance of stained glass. It is stitched on Aida cloth and stiffened felt before being backed onto a cotton canvas. It is 16 ½ inches tall and 8 ½ inches wide. It weighs 340 grams. For best care wipe gently with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking patch in water or hanging in direct sunlight. It is highly recommend that the patch be removed to clean the jacket. Do not machine wash. |

Crafter Bio | Hello, my name is Levi. I live in Mohkinstsis (colonially known as Calgary, Alberta). I am a Métis man who has been beading for around four years, my designs tend to lean towards non-traditional flat stitch work in a single needle method. I like to make nerd culture items that I hope resonate with others. Beadwork is a way I connect to my heritage, it is meditative, healing, and an act of creation that brings me great joy. I hope what I make shows others that Indigenous art is beautiful. Please follow my instagram account if you wish to see more of what I create @thatbeadedfellow |
