Miryenne decided on a cream cotton for the egg, and while paying asked about the knitting circle, but the clerk had was unaware of any gatherings. And when she went back the next week to show them her finished turtle, she could not even find the shop. When she asked about THAT, nobody knew of any local yarn shops.
What is the turtle made from? Yarn! Fibers include: Cotton, Wool, Merino, Nylon, Acrylic, Silk, Linen, and Mohair. The yarns were chosen to be kid friendly but it's uncertain if this would survive a trip through the washing machine and dryer, so best to hand wash/ drip dry.
Each elephant is a little over an inch long and the egg is about 5 inches long.
