This year we are giving away 20 entries into the server, 10 at the start of the first Dawnguard shift, and then 10 towards the end. Each winner will receive access to a private 1.20.1 Java Minecraft server, along with an invite to a private Discord server. Once all 20 players are situated, it’s up to them to come together over the course of the week to explore the server, punch trees, and build up an incredible Minecraft world. At the end of each Dawnguard shift, we’ll hop onto the server to check in on your progress, and deliver goodies to help you in your quest!
Basic rules/guidelines to consider before entering this giveaway:
-Minecraft experience is not at all required, but owning the game is obviously is! For this particular server you’ll be required to own a copy of the Java version of the game.
-No one is required to log on every day, or put in a minimum number of hours, but if you think you’d only be able to play for 20 minutes each day, if that, please refrain from entering.
-The Discord server is entirely optional, but is highly recommended as it makes communication between all the players much easier. The Discord server this year is baked into the Dawncraft United Discord server (more on that in a minute)
-This should absolutely go without saying, but for both the Minecraft and Discord servers there is zero tolerance for abusive behavior toward your fellow players.
Something new to this year is the existence of Dawncraft United. A Minecraft and Discord server made up of all previous years winners. They remain active throughout the year in both Discord and Minecraft. It is a community driven server, Desert Bus for Hope has no official presence on either server (James is a member of both, but not super active). Which means that while winners of this years Dawnguard Minecraft Server giveaway will be invited into the great Dawncraft United server after this years run, it is not a requirement at all! Just a fun little bonus :D
