Each tray has had Resolene applied, a water resistant acrylic top coat that should withstand the minor spills that are bound to happen at any table! However, best practice is to avoid exposure to liquids in general as they can stain and darken leather.
Additionally, I know we all love a good set of heavy metal dice because they're so darn satisfying to roll but they WILL slightly dent and mar the rolling surface. You may find this gives it more character over time (and I think they roll especially well), but if you want the surface to remain as pristine as possible, using your standard dice is recommended.
The five colors included are as pictured are Red, Spanish Brown, Royal Blue, Yellow, and Green.
